Russian figure skater, Honored Master of Sports of Russia. Olympic champion in 2002, four-time world champion (1998, 1999, 2000 and 2002), three-time European champion (1998, 1999, 2002), two-time winner of the Grand Prix finals in figure skating, two-time world champion among professionals and world champion among juniors. Inducted into the US Figure Skating Hall of Fame in Colorado Springs.
